Virtual Rounds Speakers RFP (Request for Proposal)

CAPA welcomes speaker submissions and topic ideas for the 2023 Virtual Rounds, a fully virtual, streaming medical education conference for PAs!
This request for proposal (RFP) is an open call to PAs, physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare subject matter experts to submit a presentation topic on any of the following areas:

  • Primary Care
  • Cardiology
  • Dermatology
  • Diagnostic, Radiologic, and Laboratory Studies
  • Endocrinology
  • Diet and Nutrition
  • Ears, Nose, and Throat
  • Gastroenterology
  • Geriatric Medicine
  • Hematology
  • Infectious Diseases
  • Nephrology
  • Neurology
  • Orthopedics
  • Pediatrics
  • Preventive Medicine
  • Professionalism and Ethics in Medicine
  • Psychiatry and Behavioral Science
  • Pulmonology
  • Reproductive Health
  • Rheumatology
  • Urgent and Emergent Medicine
  • Urology

Review Criteria
Proposals are reviewed by CAPA’s CME Committee, which is composed of PA volunteers from primary care and a rotating selection of specialties. The Committee reviews proposals based on public health need, topic relevancy, timelines, and applicable learning objectives.

Submission Process
To apply for consideration, please complete and submit the online form* and attach the following:

    • CV or resume
    • Photo (professional headshot preferred)
    • Sample of presentation materials or handouts, if any (optional)
    • Brief list of past speaking engagements, if any (optional)

Final date for submission is March 10, 2023.

*If you do not have a Google account or are otherwise unable to complete the Google form, please email your contact information (name, email, phone, profession), presentation details (title, abstract, 3 learning objectives), and your attachments (resume, photo) to lisa@capanet.org.

Selection and Honorarium
If selected, speakers will be notified by March 24, 2023 and provided with a formal speaker agreement as well as follow-up instructions for how to conduct a one-hour recorded presentation. All speakers will receive a $200 honorarium after the final presentation recording is complete (due May 1, 2023).
