About A.T. Still University
A.T. Still University, founded in 1892, is a private non-profit graduate health professions university with campuses in Missouri, Arizona, online, and a future campus in California. The Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) program, in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies, is under the leadership of Randy Danielsen, PhD, PA-C Emeritus, DFAAPA. The DMSc program began in July 2019 with current enrollments of over 175 students. Our first cohort graduates in June 2021. The DMSc is completed entirely online, with 12 courses, three concentration areas (education, leadership, and clinical), and can be completed in 2 years or 3 years. Classes are only 10-weeks in length and taught by doctoral-level PAs and doctoral-level healthcare research faculty. New students can start in: July, September, January, or March. Tuition and fees for the entire program are under $20,000 (currently $19,152). ATSU has extensive library resources, a dedicated online librarian, and provides free writing support.
