Physician Assistant – Head and Neck

In this role, you will provide high quality, efficient, team based, patient focused care. Your responsibilities may include managing patients in the office, hospital, Emergency Department, and/or perioperative setting. In addition, you may be required to First Assist in the Operating Room or perform other department specific procedures as well as facilitate on-call responsibilities for your supervising physician. Your daily responsibilities may vary based upon the department and supervising physician needs and may require evening or weekend work hours.

Requirements Qualifications Include:
  • Surgical experience in the last 3 years
  • Prior Head and Neck Surgery experience preferred
  • A graduate  from an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program by start date
  • NCCPA certified at time of  hire and maintained throughout career at Kaiser Permanente
  • A California State Physician Assistant License, issued by the Physician Assistant Board under the Medical Board  of California by date of hire
  • BLS certification
  • A National Provider Identifier (NPI) or the ability to obtain one prior to employment start date and meet current Medicare requirements for billing
  • May be required  to have  experience and competency in performing specific tasks required by department
  • The ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment
