A.T. Still University, founded in 1892, is a private non-profit graduate health professions university with campuses in Missouri, Arizona, online, and California. The Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) program, in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies, is under the leadership of Randy Danielsen, PhD, PA-C Emeritus, DFAAPA. The DMSc program began in July 2019 with current enrollments of over 200 students. Our first cohort of 84 students graduated in June 2021. The DMSc is completed entirely online, with 13 courses, three concerntration areas (education, leadership, and clinical), and can be completed in 2 years or 3 years. Capstone projects can be either research-based or non-research applied projects. Classes are only 10-weeks in length and taught by doctoral-level PAs and doctoral-level healthcare research faculty. ATSu has extensive library resources, a dedicated online librarian, and provides free writing support. New students can start in: July, September, January, or March. Tuition and fees for the entire program is $22,752 (2021-22 tuition/fees).
