Breaking News: Governor Newsom Signs SB 697!

The New Year will bring increased access to healthcare for patients and new opportunities for PAs. The provisions of SB 697 recognize and will advance the value and dignity of the PA profession bringing renewed respect and recognition for California PAs. This is a big win for California!

SB 697 is self-executing! This means that on January 1, 2020 the provisions of law found in SB 697 will take effect. CAPA members will be receiving much more informatoin over the next weeks and months. Thank you for your support!!

Was the bill revised along the way? Where is the best place to get a copy of the bill?

Nice work. Congrats to CAPA and in particular the Legistrative Committee. All California PA’s are better off because of CAPA

So proud of CAPA and our field! I’m curious what this will mean for billing incident 2 in private practices and if this will have any effect on that at all? I know they were able to bill in this same way with NP’s in the past to collect 100% physician fees. Any input on this?
