The CAPA Conference is always full of fun and excitement and this year will be no different. In addition to excellent CME sessions we will continue the CAPA tradition of making the CAPA Conference the best, most friendly and fun PA conference there is.

  • Held at the beautiful Wyndham Palm Springs and Palm Springs Convention Center, the CAPA Conference is a yearly event to anticipate and look forward to. PAs return year after year to see old friends and make new ones. Many families make this a yearly mini-vacation. Spouses look forward to all that Palm Springs and the Wyndham have to offer. Kids of all ages love the Wyndham pool and close by movie theaters. Everyone loves to walk to Palm Canyon Drive for the shops, restaurants and Thursday evening Street Fair.

  • As of this writing we are developing the educational portion of the program. Please let us know what you would like to hear and please let us know if you have heard any good speakers lately. We hand pick our speakers and word-of-mouth plays an important role in finding the best speakers there are.  Let us know who you love.

  • Back this year is the American PA Idol Competition and the CAPA Dance on Friday night. Sign up today to entertain and amaze (or amuse) your PA colleagues.

  • The Student Challenge Bowl held on the deck of the beautiful Wyndham Hotel pool is one of the highlights of the CAPA Conference. Come and cheer on your favorite PA Program. And, students, sign up today to participate in the Student Challenge Bowl.

  • Last year we included Cheerleading Teams at the Student Challenge Bowl and we were delighted with the creativity and enthusiasm from the two programs who ventured out for the first go at Student Challenge Bowl Cheerleading Contest. Check out the photos from last year and start working on your cheers. This competition is open to all PAs – students and/or graduates.

  • New this year – We are giving you the opportunity to Honor the PA(s) who have touched your life. Along the walls at the Palm Springs Convention Center there will be tributes highlighting those PAs who you tell us about. We simply need their name, your name and the brief story. This should be fun, quick and easy. The hard part will be keeping your submission under 50 words. You can do it though! It is worth it.  Click here for more information on the exciting project.

  • This year we will offer a PA MarketPlace for goods or services you want to market to those attending the CAPA Conference. The 6 foot table in the MarketPlace is free. All we ask is that 20% of your sales go to the CAPA Political Action Committee (PAC) and that the product and/or service is safe and in good taste, of course. Many PAs and/or their spouses have businesses which could benefit from sales to CAPA Conference attendees. Please spread the word to your colleagues, friends and loved ones. For complete rules and information, please contact the CAPA office at (714) 427-0321.
