• Be able to diagnose and treat thermal injuries such as burns, hyperthermia, hypothermia and frostbite

• Be able to diagnose and treat animal bites and stings including envenomations, lacerations and infections

• Be able to diagnose and treat altitude and dive related illnesses

• Be able to diagnose and treat toxic inhalation illnesses such as carbon monoxide, cyanide and others
