Learning Objectives:

This presentation focuses in on the more common causes of wrist pain i.e., de Quervain’s Stenosing Tenosynovitis, Intersection Syndrome, Basilar Joint Arthritis, and also reviews Nerve Comprssion Syncromes, Wrist Ligament Injuries and Avascular Necrosis of the Carpal Bones.  It includes a review of the pertinent anatomy, how to obtain a useful history, perform a proper examination to differentiate between the above, and then covers treatment options.  The participant should be able to examine, diagnose and treat the above conditions with a greater degree of confidence after the presentation.
