  1. Discuss the epidemiology of atrial fibrillation
  2. Understand potential clinical and economic consequences of atrial fibrillation
  3. Briefly review the pathophysiology of atrial fibrillation
  4. Recognize the three pillars of atrial fibrillation management based on ACC/AHA/ESC guidelines
